Recently two of our own Liverpool FC IA Texas ECNL players, Nata Nilarat and Steven Restrepo were selected to attend the id2 national Identification and Development Program.  This is an amazing opportunity for these players to experience training and playing with some of the top athletes across the United States.  The boys were chosen through a scouting system and are very excited to attend the camp and represent Liverpool FC IA Texas.

US Club Soccer’s id2 National Identification and Development Program provides an opportunity for the country’s top youth soccer players to be identified and developed in an elite training camp with top players from throughout the country, while also being scouted for possible inclusion in U.S. Soccer’s National Team programs”

Our boys Director of Coaching, Tom Blencoe said, “Everyone at the club is proud and excited for Nata and Steven. They are very deserving of this opportunity as they have a real drive to improve and are a joy to coach. The Id2 and exposure to the national team scouts is another benefit to being a part of US Club. We look forward to be able to provide more of the same opportunity's to our deserving athletes.”  The boys are loving it so far, completely out of the comfort zone. They feel like they are being treated like Pro’s”

Attending an id2 Program Training Camp has many benefits for players:

  • An opportunity to work with some of the nation’s best soccer coaches, and to play with and compete against some of the nation’s best players in your age group
  • U.S. Soccer National Team staff on-site to scout players for inclusion in U.S. Soccer’s National Teams.
