Liverpool FC International Academy is proud to create unique challenging and rewarding pathways for teams and players throughout their Liverpool experience.  This week, an outstanding team of hard working dedicated players and their coach, Sara Bohannon were recognized for their achievements with the announcement that going forward the 08 Girls Toshack team has now earned the honor to be called 08 Girls Elite.

The honor of being named an “Elite” team is earned by consistently being at the top of leagues, winning tournaments, consistency on the roster and a successful measureable record earned over a minimum of 12 to18 months as a team. 

08 Girls Toshack has won numerous tournaments including the 2017 Lexus Cup, NTX Celtic FC Fall Challenge, League Challenge Cup and the Labor Day Open and many others.  The 08 Girls Toshack team has played successfully in many tournaments in the boys division consistently making it to the championship games.  They are eager and ready to play for the opportunity to qualify for LHGCL next year and look forward to the many years of challenges and great team memories ahead.

The Liverpool pathway is designed for the needs of our teams and our players.  Individual pathways are highlighted with player evaluations twice per year by the team coach, being recognized as a Liverpool Player of the Month, working hard to earn a roster place on our National Premier League teams as well as our Boys ECNL teams, earning playtime and leadership roles within league teams.   Teams participate in programs as teams such as Camp Kop, Camp Kop II, CAP Program workshops, the Traditions Banquet and much more. 

The Liverpool pathway guides players to achieve their goals and exceed their expectations focusing on the players’ vision of themselves both on and off the field.  Our passion, commitment and belief in our players is an important point of differentiation for our club and we believe that any player who chooses Liverpool, chooses a unique positive pathway, that encourages them to develop as the best player on the field AND the best person they can be in life.
