More than 250 Liverpool FC America U-12 parents and athletes were treated to a very special evening Tuesday, January 7th at the American Airlines Training and Conference Center entitled “The Liverpool Way.” The evening program was dedicated to helping our families and athletes understand how “The Liverpool Way” makes us better and stronger and differentiates us from any other club in America. What the parents and athletes learned was that “The Liverpool Way” is real. “It defines how we do things and how we behave here at Liverpool Football Club,” announced keynote speaker Adam Flynn, Head Coach of the International Football Academy in England. “The Liverpool Way” is a tangible difference that people see, feel and hear about when they become a part of Liverpool FC and Liverpool FC America.
Defined even further, “It is in everything we do… it is in your heart,” remarked Peter Brody the Chief Executive Officer and President of Liverpool FC America during this weekend’s 2014 Coaches’ Retreat.
Wrapped in the core values of character, quality and tradition, Liverpool FC America has brought the culture of Liverpool Football Club and “The Liverpool Way” to life here in the United States by relentlessly pursuing excellence in all that we do, holding people accountable and expecting the very best from every aspect of the club. From what we say to our behavior the standards are set to be the highest standards possible. “The Liverpool Way” means the actions, words and goals from those who represent the club will always reflect honesty, integrity, family, honor, pride, humility, dignity, commitment, ambition and unity.
Sunday evening gave more than 250 families the opportunity to see and hear firsthand the strength of the partnership between Liverpool Football Club in England and Liverpool FC America, and what the future holds for Liverpool FC America here in the United States.
