The more than 60 teams that will wear the red of Liverpool came together for two brilliant days of team tryouts at the Five Star Complex in The Colony. The first day was highlighted with many returning players, and families as well as new faces, new teams and new families all looking forward to all the signature programs and events for the 2013-2014 year and about becoming a part of Liverpool FC America.
A very special part of the evening was the graduation ceremony marking our 03 teams moving from academy to the select side. The presentation of our graduation t-shirts by our oldest teams, the 96 Girls Gold and 96 Boys Anfield gave parents a “moment” to pause and appreciate the hard work all of these players go through to achieve the ability to play at the select level.
Another fun part of the two day event was the fantastic new Spiritwear lineup unveiled to rave reviews and lots of smiles. The Spiritwear lineup for 2013-2014 will be available online beginning on August 5th at our online store found at www.liverpoolfcamerica.com .
Liverpool FC America is proud to announce 68 club teams and more than 60 academy teams for the 2013-2014 season and look forward to the year ahead.
