TWU's Fleur Benatar to head the committee

The Woman’s Coaches Committee has been created to continuously evaluate and promote the development of our female staff coaches through coaching education opportunities, sharing of ideas, and rigorous evaluations of the quality of the Girls Program here at Liverpool FC America.  The goal and vision of the committee is to develop role models; great coaches and leaders to inspire and train young female athletes, and market leading initiatives that develop confidence and skill in these talented athletes.  With a direct focus on the college program, nutrition and fitness, technical development, national exposure to collegiate programs and injury prevention, the Woman’s Coaches committee will explore all avenues to strengthen our players in their physical training, mental and technical development as well as an unparalleled understanding of the game. Liverpool will be the premier club in Texas and the southern United States in the near future, because of programs like the Woman’s Coaches Committee, our unstoppable College program, Reds Academy School of Excellence, our coaching education and our connection to Liverpool FC, England’s tradition, history and pride.

The Committee Chairman is Fleur Benatar.   Fleur is currently the Texas Woman’s University head coach for the 9th year since the program’s inception.   Fleur Benatar competed as a collegiate player earning honors at both University of Arkansas and University of North Texas and has earned the USSF National “A” license and is a state licensed instructor. As a leader, highly qualified coach and motivated individual when it comes to improving the woman's game, Fleur Benatar has proven herself for more than 15 years as someone who inspires success to those who work for and around her.   The Woman’s Coaches Committee will set goals, evaluate programs, give direction and launch aggressive girls programs to help our female athletes discover their success.

Fleur will be joined by other exceptional coaches on this committee. Watch for information and news articles related the Woman’s Coaches Committee coming soon.
