Andy Kaasa

Creating a culture of excellence to succeed at the highest level both on the field and in life is what I'm passionate about. I believe that every person has a vision, that every person dreams bold dreams. The College Process is a huge part of a player's dreams.

I have Coached at a University that made the NCAA Tournament, been a Director in the Girls Academy and the ECNL, coached hundreds of players who have played college soccer along with many US Youth National Team Players.

The BVB International Academy CAP Program is invested in helping our players achieve their dreams and I am honored to lead this program.

Enrique Bravo

In Enrique’s words:  “I am extremely excited in this next chapter of my coaching career. I joined a great organization like BVB International Academy to grow as a coach.   I have found that the people, culture and focus on excellence is a perfect fit for my future.”

Jayden Wheeler

Hello! My name is Jayden Wheeler and I coach a growing and successful 2013 girls' team on the east side of Dallas. I grew up playing club soccer in the Dallas metroplex at the highest level of ECNL, finishing 3rd in the nation at one point in high school. I also went on to play Division I college soccer for Northwestern State University in the Southland Conference, starting all four years I attended. I am now back and continuing my love for soccer on the coaching side. BVB has welcomed us with open arms and has already pushed my team and myself as a coach towards success. I am excited to join the BVB family!

Chris Obara

I have been involved in Coaching youth Soccer since the late '80s when I started by assisting Carmelo D'Anzi at the Genesis Soccer Club. I Coached with Ayses first Select team which was the '90 age group. I had a stint with Texas Lightning Soccer Club with the '86/'87 age group. Coached the Ayses '98s with which we won Disney Showcase in 2015 and played in Dallas Cup in 2016. I've been Coaching the Ayses '07 & '06 age groups of which one of my players from the '07s is currently on the U-16 National team and plays for the FC Dallas MLS next team. The '06 team lost in state cup finals via penalty shoot out in 2022 and went to regionals last year. They also lost in the Semi finals of State Cup this year in overtime via a penalty kick awarded in overtime

Jak Klassen

We are excited to announce the newest addition to the BVB International Academy North Texas, Coach Jak Klassen.  Coach Jak’s passion started at a young age carrying him through playing at North Lake College and then for the DFW Tornadoes (MASL.)  Following his professional career playing soccer, and then with two young children of his own beginning their journey in soccer, he took his love for the game and started to coach the next generation of players.

Most recently he oversaw the Western Division for Alpha Forms Academy.  Coach Jak’s passion for the game, his pursuit to truly develop players and the desire to help kids achieve their soccer dreams will be a significant addition to our academy and the strength of the Black and Yellow Academy.

The knowledge, experience and lifelong love that he has for the game provides a dedicated vision to each of his player’s future both on and off the pitch.

Charity Ballmann

Charity’s passion for sports and soccer started at a young age. She was an All-State High School soccer player. She continued to play college soccer at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO) from 1999-2002, where she was also named the captain for 3 years. Through mentorship, she began coaching early on, helping with various soccer camps, and after graduation, she continued to help with coaching responsibilities for both men and women at USAO. She has coached several club teams as well as in the Academy Development Program for Edmond Soccer Club, Girls’ Oklahoma Olympic Development Program (ODP), and Vardar Soccer Club in Missouri. She earned her USSF ‘C’ License (2005) and National Youth License (2006). Charity is also a registered nurse and serves in a leadership role for her organization. Charity has been recognized as an Outstanding 25 Texas Nurses and by D Magazine for Excellence in Nursing. Charity has a Master’s in Nursing and a Bachelor’s in Communications and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice through Abilene Christian University. Charity is passionate about developing and mentoring. She is excited to have more time to pursue her love of coaching soccer. Charity is married to her husband, Elliott, and they have two children, Carter (10yo) and Evelyn (5yo), who both already have a love for the game and are currently playing for the BVB IA North Texas Club.

Haime Ortega

Coach Haime Ortega was raised in Dallas Texas and grew up playing soccer from a very young age.  He developed his passion for player development with several coaches who inspired him to strive for excellence in every step of his development.  He is now passing along that passion to his son as well as all the players who Haime coaches.  “The future of soccer is changing, developing and challenging players like never before.  It is in these challenges that we not only make future players, but future leaders.   Soccer can teach so much more than what is on the field, and as the ambassadors of the sport coaches are asked to lead by example, share what is possible and help the players achieve their dreams.”
