Dear Families, Players, Coaches and Staff,

On behalf of a grateful club we wanted to say Thank You to each of you for all you have done to help slow the spread and flatten the curve of Covid19. In addition, your loyalty and steadfast support of our club and community has meant so much.

We are pleased to announce that immediately and thru May 31 practices and training can and will increase to 10 players verse the 4 we are currently operating under. For the next two weeks our coaching staff will be focusing on the technical aspects of the game that allow a moderate social distancing. The next two weeks will be a period of re-adjustment to training and on May 31 we will resume full training.

We recognize that Covid-19 is not gone, so we do want to encourage continuation of the safe hygiene practices our club has implemented.

Until May 31, please continue to return the RTP (return to practice) waiver to the manager or coach prior to any player attending training.

All players should ensure prior to coming to practice that they are fit with no symptoms whatsoever. We continue to ask all players to be diligent and keenly aware of your health. Observing measures such as taking your temperature if you are not feeling well, and being aware of any kind of sore throat or any of the other symptoms of Covid-19 as detailed on the Texas HHS website is very important. Each individual must take responsibility and accountability for their health. A few reminders:

  • Before leaving the house, we recommend that you use the restroom, wash your hands and use hand sanitizer. Also clearly label your water bottle.
  • Sharing water bottles is strictly prohibited.
  • Continue the practice of placing your bag and water bottle 6 feet apart from your teammate.
  •  At this time only one parent or guardian is allowed at the training field
  • please ensure all parents practice safe social distancing currently recommended at 6 feet.

Your coach will be doing his/her part by washing and cleaning all shared equipment after each training session.

The real key to making sure we beat this virus is you; if you do not feel well or feel you may be symptomatic, stay home. We will miss you, but you will be keeping everyone safe including yourself.

We are extremely excited to return to practice and look forward to seeing everyone at tryouts on July 1st, at The Training Grounds.

All the best,

BVB IA Texas
