Academy Open Skills

One of the key components to the strength and success of the Liverpool Reds Academy is the access our players have to our Academy Open Skills.  Academy Open Skills also known as “Friday Night Skills” are under the direction of Academy Director Lee Weddall and the curriculum of the Liverpool Reds Academy.  The skills are taught in a positive age-appropriate environment to build confidence and skill while also having a lot of fun during each session.

The Academy Open Skills are an added value that makes the Reds Academy program a smarter choice for athletes who want to develop their game.  The sessions are conducted by professional Liverpool coaches at three locations each Friday Night from September  9th through November 11th, 2011

6:00-7:15pm  MAC Training Facility Lewisville- 200 Continental Dr, Lewisville, TX

6:00-7:15pm  Plano YMCA- YMCA at Tennyson just west of Preston Road- Plano, Texas

6:00-7:15pm  Blue Sky Sports Center in Keller - Golden Triangle Blvd, Keller

The Academy Open Skills program focuses on technical small footwork skills for all ages.  These precise technique infused skill sets are the building blocks of success for competitive soccer.  Between the ages of 6-10 is considered the “Golden Years” of learning for an athlete.  It is the time when technical demonstration, professional coaching, and significant touches on the ball can create competitive success for years to come.

Academy Open Skills is free for players who are currently registered with a Liverpool team.  For players and guests to the academy each session is $10.00 per player.

Liverpool FC America and the Liverpool Reds Academy encourage players of all skill levels who love the game to come out to Friday Night Skills and elevate their game to the next level.
